Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies

I’m feeling a little sad…it’s the last few days before Winter break is over. It is so great to just be able to hang out with everyone and not have to do homework.  It’s not my homework but, sometimes I feel like it is…you know what I mean?  I love history and science but bring my geometry and my  head hurts. LOL

Anyway, for some more together time we decided to do some more baking.  I love peanut butter and I love Nutella…combine the two and I am in heaven 🙂 These cookies are super simple to make and are simply Aaaamazing! They are the perfect combination of a soft peanut butter cookie and chocolate hazelnut spread. Yum!

Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies

Makes about 2 dozen cookies

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 egg

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 1/4 cup flour

In mixer beat butter and peanut butter until combined. Add sugars, baking powder, baking soda  and mix until combined. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Add flour to mixer  and mix until combined.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls or use scoop. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and lightly flatten centers.  Add 1 tsp Nutella to center of cookie and then cover with a teaspoon of the peanut butter dough.  It doesn’t have to be fully covered.

Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Cool on rack.

Now, I just need to figure out what to do with all these cookies we keep baking.

Hope you enjoy them!

  1. oh my goodness those look so good! I like the large amount of nutella you used. Add nutella to anything and your set. I once wanted to eat nutella plain but I felt strange so I took pop sickle sticks and made nutella pops in the refrigerator. Yum 🙂
